Kirkwall Town Band
About Us
We are a community based brass band which is open to everyone who wants to play brass and percussion instruments. We are made up of musicians from all over the Orkney mainland and we rehearse on a weekly basis.
Where we’re from
Kirkwall Town Band hail from Orkney, a group of 70 islands, of which about 20 are inhabited. About 20,000 people live on Orkney, with the population of Kirkwall being around 8,500. The islands are situated 10 miles off the north coast of the Scottish mainland.
